Hi! My name is Lauren Barber, and I will be teaching the Kindergarten boys this year at Spartanburg Charter School. I love teaching and consider it a privilege to help shape young minds.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Clemson University in 2008, and I earned my Master’s degree at Converse College in Early Childhood Education this past December. Since January, I taught preschool at First Baptist Church in Greenville, which is also a Reggio-inspired school. I live in Greenville with my husband, Kent.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, cooking, baking, relaxing at the beach, and attending Clemson football games.
I am so excited and proud to be a part of the SCS family! Thank you for sharing your special children with me each day, and I look forward to a wonderful year together!
