My name is Wakela Porter. I am a native of Union, South Carolina. Currently I reside in Boiling Springs, South Carolina with my family. My children are Jordan, age 13 and twins, Everette and Eriyanna, age 4.

I received my Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Psychology from Limestone College. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Counseling from Liberty University. This will be my third year teaching with the Spartanburg Charter School.

I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my family. I enjoy working at the Spartanburg Charter School because of the feeling of being a family. The school fosters the ideals of educating the whole child which I very much endorse.
