Jennifer GIlesThis will be my second year teaching Kindergarten at SCS. I love teaching Kindergarten and being a part of the SCS team! I grew up in Clemson, SC, and attended college at Clemson University where I received my B.S. in Psychology in 2004. I also met my wonderful husband Matt while at Clemson. We have been married for three years. I received my M.A. in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University in 2008, and my M.A.T. in Early Childhood Education from Converse College in 2010. While studying at Converse, I taught arts classes for children at The Peace Center for the Performing Arts. Matt and I currently reside in Greer, SC, with our German Shepherd Niko and cat Greyson.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and friends, singing, playing piano and guitar, and performing in local theatre productions. I sing in choir and am part of the worship team at Taylors First Baptist Church. I love music and enjoy teaching through music and using it in the classroom. My husband and I also love cheering on our Clemson Tigers!
