Hi, my name is Kelly Uzas and I am so excited to be teaching 1^st grade girls this year at SCS!  I grew up in Greenville and currently reside in Moore.  I graduated from USC-Upstate in 2005 where I studied Physical Education with a Concentration in Corporate Fitness.  After graduation I worked for a local bank and then pursued a career in sales with L’Oreal.  I decided I wanted to teach so I went back to school and earned my Master’s in Early Childhood Education at Converse College.  While finishing up my Master’s I have been working as the Youth Director for my church (Joy Lutheran).

In my spare time I love doing anything outdoors especially walking my two beautiful dogs with my husband.  We enjoy spending as much time as we can in Charleston during the summer.  In the fall you can find me cheering on the Gamecocks in Columbia. 

I look forward to getting to know everyone at SCS and becoming a part of a great school community.
