Open Enrollment begins on November 1 of each schoolyear and closes on Feburary 1, however students may apply at any time during the schoolyear. Those applying between November 1 and Feburary 1 are offered placement at SCS on the basis of a lottery conducted in each grade level and class affected. However, children of SCS employees and siblings of children already enrolled at SCS are exempt from the lottery as allowable per state and federal law. After February 1, students are enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis.
